Yes. Beds, couches, dining tables, pianos, stacked washer/dryer, entertainment centers. It's in the quote — no surcharge.

How long does a typical install take?

Hardwood: 3–4 days per 1,000 sqft. LVP: 2 days per 1,000 sqft. Tile: 3–4 days for a typical bathroom. Carpet: 1–2 days per floor.

Most jobs start within 2–3 weeks of deposit. We book install dates at signing.

Do I need to be home during install?

Accepted Answer

Not the whole time — but we need access and someone available for key decisions (transitions, trim color, stain approval). Most customers hand us a key and check in twice a day.

What flooring is best for a home with dogs?

LVP (luxury vinyl plank). Waterproof, scratch-resistant 20-mil wear layer, dog-nail proof. COREtec and Shaw Floorte are our top picks.

Hardwood or LVP?

Hardwood for resale value and longevity (50-100 years). LVP for waterproofing, scratch resistance, and cost. Many customers do hardwood in living/dining/bedroom and LVP in kitchen/bath/basement.

Can I refinish my existing hardwood?

Probably yes — solid 3/4" hardwood can be refinished 4-6 times. Engineered hardwood can be refinished once if the wear layer is 2mm+. We check board thickness before quoting.

Can you install flooring over concrete?

Yes — engineered hardwood or LVP with moisture barrier and thermal underlayment. Solid hardwood is not recommended over concrete or below grade.

How much does flooring cost on Long Island?

Typical 1,000 sqft: LVP $5,000–$10,000. Engineered hardwood $7,500–$14,000. Solid hardwood $9,000–$18,000. Tile $6,000–$14,000. Carpet $2,500–$6,500. Refinishing $2,500–$5,500.
